Hi Victoria.

One place where you can hear lots of Venezuelan voices right now is Twitter. Venezuelans on both sides of the conflict are using tweets to get their messages to the world. Tweets very often link to other media as well. You’ll find a list of the most heavily used hashtags at the Venezuela trending hashtags page on Tweeplers.

Please note that I don’t work for Twitter, and I have no idea how long the current level of free speech there is going to last. Of course it depends on the Twitter management… A few days ago I got the news that Twitter was banning some Venezuelan accounts which they thought were misusing their site. I feared that might be the end of open debate re Venezuela via tweets, but so far it hasn’t been.
